This lighthouse was built in 1811 on Farne Island in the North Sea. It continues to warn captains of pending shallow treacheries during the heaviest of storms. It is a nice walk around the small island. In the spring, the island is home to many puffins. The surrounding waters are home to grey seals. This old lighthouse and its years of occupants holds many stories.

I am exploring and living life to its fullest every day. Photography is a significant way for me to share some of these explorations. The goal of these art pieces is to stimulate thought, emotional change, movement, pause and possibly generate a smile. I would love to hear about your reaction to the art and your life experiences. I find there is a connection between our experiences and what we find as great art. I enjoy being outdoors, sailing, and hiking. My photographic interests evolve along with my techniques. While I am interested in many aspects, currently I tend to gravitate towards mechanical and people subjects and try to explore new ways “seeing” these subjects. Comments are always welcomed.
